This vest is exactly what I wanted it to be. The pockets are sewed shut. So I’m trying to decide if it’s worth opening them or keeping them shut to help preserve the shape.
I just received this jumper in the mail and I fell in love immediately. Its devine, long sleeves with wide opening, beautiful embroidered design, easy to care for. Love the turtle neck, the doodles, the slouchy elegant fit. I'm 178cm tall, usually size 14-16 and bought the XL. I have long arms and the sleeves come past my wrist which I am grateful for as often they are short. I love the playfulness in this jumper. I am 60 years old and this was my first step towards dressing with more joy.
Truly exceeded expectations. The duck buckles (duckles if you will) are a pleasantly heavy weight, the material is soft and has just enough stretch to be fitted and still comfy after a big dinner out. The colours are rich and perfectly autumnal. My only notes would be the slip is a touch straighter of a cut and if you like to take big strides it's a little restrictive. I'll probably just unpick the sides to the knees and resew them as a split side but after so many scratchy tartan skirts it is a delight having a slip at all. I can't believe how quickly it arrived, and I feel like my wardrobe is finally complete.
