OUR PRICING PHILOSOPHY

“At Kina and Tam, we believe prices shouldn’t be $5, but they shouldn’t be $500 either. We’re not here for quick profits; we’re here to share the joy of our artistic creations for as long as we can. We feel truly privileged to create art-inspired pieces for a living and never take it for granted. Thanks to our customers, we can continue doing what we love, and we must ensure our prices remain fair. No price gouging here!”
— Linnie, Co-founder

A Common Misconception...

Is that we’re too expensive! This often comes from those who admire our pieces from behind the screen and have never shopped from us, and avid bargain hunters. We understand—everyone loves a good deal, especially in today’s economy. However, here’s the truth: 1) we’re not a fast fashion brand and don’t want to be, and 2) considering the quality and the piece of art that you’re getting, our prices are actually really affordable!

In Reality...

We are offering a pieces that are worth more than what we price them for! Every piece is of exceptional value and we know this because of the reactions we receive from everyone who sees our creations in person —retailers and customers alike are often surprised by the quality. Additionally, we've been told many times that we can price higher from business experts. But we don't, unless it's an absolute necessity to continue to operate.

Our Price Range: $$

Our prices are mid-range, between $40 and $150 USD, and we aim to keep them within this range for our customers. While our pricing is comparable to mid-tier fast fashion brands like Zara, Uniqlo, and COS, we are a small fashion business producing high-quality, unique, and innovative garments in small batches, with little to no economies of scale.

So How Do We Do This?

It’s simple:
1) WE DO NOT PRICE GOUGE! We only charge what is absolutely necessary to continue our operations.
2) It helps to be independent! Sure we don't have a large funding but we also don't have an investor chasing profits.
3) Our cofounders do most of the groundwork to keep our overheads down and we do not pushing business growth beyond our financial capacity.
4) We create exceptional art-inspired pieces that keep people coming back for more.
